Today we woke up early and drove south to a small town called Nordlingen. This was our fourth stop along the Romantic Road tour in southern Germany. We started by a visit to the Lutheran chapel, St. Georgskirche, and a climb to the top of the bell tower. The views from the top were great.

After the bell tower climb, we walked along the historic city walls. Before heading onward to Donauworth.

At Donauworth we stumbled upon a local festival and ate a couple frankfurters. After our time in Donauworth we are headed further south to Neuschwanstein Castle.

And how is the driving? You look cold in the pictures, what is the weather there? I can’t wait to see pictures of the castle.
