Dublin

Today was our first full (and very busy) day in Dublin, Ireland.  It was also Lyle’s 23rd birthday.  We woke up around 8am and started the day by taking a tour at Dublin Castle.

After that, we ate lunch and it rained a bit before we headed over to Ireland’s #1 visitor attraction, Guinness Storehouse and Brewery.

The highlight of the Guinness tour was the Gravity Bar where we enjoyed an awesome view of the city with our favorite pint of Irish stout.

We ate dinner and ventured into an iconic Dublin pub known as the Stag’s Head for another pint.  This is the same pub that James Joyce used to frequently drink at.  Katie was sick of drinking beer so she ordered an Orange Fanta instead.

Katie is leaving early tomorrow morning and our adventures in Europe certainly won’t be the same without her.
