My train arrived in Salzburg at 10pm.  After a slight difficulty of finding the hostel, I met some fellow travelers and called it a night.  The next day, I woke up early to walk around the castle ruins nearby and take pictures of the cityscape.

I continued into the downtown district on my way to the Mozart Museum.

After this, I ate some traditional Austrian schnitzel for lunch and walked around the city some more.  I stopped into a pub in the afternoon and talked to a couple locals, which was difficult because my German is very limited.

Tomorrow I have a day trip to Berchtesgaden, Germany before going to Vienna.
